Ahi is the Hawaiian name for Yellowfin Tuna which are commonly found in waters near Hale'iwa, Kona, Hilo, Wai'anae, and Nawiliwili Harbor. They are one of the reasons why anglers from all over the world flock to Hawaii. Yellowfin Tuna are torpedo-shaped and metallic dark blue on the back and upper sides fading to yellow to silver on their bellies!
